We recognise the impact this may have on our customers and have worked through all our data to see where we can save our customers money whilst ensuring they get the best value.
We have switched to day tickets as our figures show many of our customers are paying for 24-hour tickets despite not needing them for the whole period. By changing these tickets, we can justify a reduced ticket cost bringing the tickets from £6.60 to £6.
The weekly and monthly tickets remain the best value as you are still getting unlimited travel for only £3.14 a day with our weekly pass and £2.53 for the monthly ticket. We have extended the fare cap until june 2023 which will allow our passengers to travel across any of our bus routes for no more than £2 per journey.
